Hagrid’s Hut cat sized replica

HAGRID’S
HUT

CAT SIZED REPLICA

YEAR: July 2025
DESIGNERS: Emma Listorto
MY ROLE & SKILLS: Sketching, building and painting

PROJECT:
A handcrafted, weatherproof garden shelter for cats, made at scale with a wooden base and frame covered in cement and hand-decorated to recreate the original aesthetic.

The structure has a liftable roof, opening plexiglass windows and a functional chimney. Solar-powered rechargeable lights were integrated into the interior to provide soft illumination at night.

REFERENCE

The hut was inspired by Hagrid’s Hut from the Harry Potter movies. The design keeps everything in scale and combines the two versions of the original house.
